Pisgah National Forest Photo Trip

On the following pages are a few photos from two backpacking trips: One outing to in Pisgah National Forest, in western North Carolina, March of 1997, and one to The Great Smoky Mountains, in eastern Tennessee, April 1997. There are only a few photos on display. Hopefully, more will follow.

I am by no means a professional photographer; the photos here were taken, in many cases, when I felt like dropping the pack. Some, required a little more effort on my part- mostly, just a filter here and there, maybe a tripod.

Low Cut
The Appalachian Mountains are graceful and inspiring. I know I will return there many, many more times over the span of my lifetime. I hope you enjoy the photos, and, if you like them, give me a buzz- ya might give me the incentive to tack a few more up.
