"Transitions" Taken at Greenbrier, an area of the park near Ramsay Cascades, in the late evening. No, your eyes do not deceive you. The photograph was meant to have that tint you see, as well as the soft glow. Any time I am near flowing water, I prefer slower shutter speeds. Don't you? I'm balancing on a few rocks, but, heck, you should've been there. This is why I carry a studio model tripod on all of my trips. Yeah, it's heavy, but a 6'2" tall tripod goes a long way in a jam. In back of me, there is a moss-covered stone bridge. Yes, I shot it as well, but it was unavailable for scanning. Hopefully, I'll have it up in the next go-round. Think so? Nikon N90s - 28-70mm Nikon Zoom [at approx. the 70mm range] - Gitzo G410 Tripod w/ Studioball. Approx. 3 second exposure w/ SB-26 Flash and Cokin® [creative filter system] Diffuser2 A. 084. The pictures will never really replace being there, no matter how many times I shoot it. I took three rolls at this spot, up and down the river. Oh, and mountain rivers never get any warmer. Trust me. |
